1. What is your shipping policy?
We currently ship to addresses located in the United States. Orders will be shipped within 2 business days using United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. We use flat rate shipping based on your merchandise total.
U.S. addresses inside the continental United States:
$8 shipping on orders up to $65.00*
FREE shipping on orders over $65.00*
U.S. addresses outside the continental United States:
$10 shipping on orders up to $50.00*
$13 shipping on orders over $50.00*

2. Do you charge Sales Tax?
Because we are located in Texas, we are required to charge sales tax on any orders that are delivered to an address within the state of Texas.
3. What is your Return Policy?
We prepare and ship all of our 100% natural products with the highest standards of quality and purity so that you and your family can feel confident using every one of our products. Once a product has been shipped to another location, however, we can no longer attest to the handling and purity of the item. Due to safety and hygiene concerns, this merchandise cannot be restocked or resold. We take pride in all of our products and firmly believe that you will be delighted with your purchase, however, it is for these safety reasons that we are unable to accept returns.
It is our goal to provide you with the finest natural products, speedy shipping, and top notch customer service. We want you to be happy with everything you purchase from Back to Basics Naturals. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your online purchase, we’re here to help. If you are unhappy with any of our products, please contact us within 7 calendar days of the delivery of your shipment and we will gladly work with you to try to make your experience a positive one.
We double check each order before it is shipped out, but if we made a mistake with your order, please contact us immediately and we will make it right. If you received an extra item in your order, just drop us an email to let us know and keep the item for yourself or share it with a friend.
If you have allergies or skin sensitivities, carefully review the individual product ingredient lists before you make your purchase. If you are unfamiliar or concerned with any of the listed ingredients, test the product on a small area before using and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

5. What is the best way to take care of all-natural soap bars?
All of our soaps are hand cut and cured in order to provide you with a hard, long-lasting bar of soap. To ensure that your soap lasts as long as possible, store your soaps in a soap dish that drains well, allow to dry thoroughly between uses, and keep out of direct water stream from the faucet. Store unopened bars in a cool, dry place.
6. What can I do with the tiny slivers of soap that are left at the end of a bar of soap?
We never waste any part of our all-natural soaps. They are good to the last sliver! Simply open a new bar of soap, wet and soften both the new bar and the sliver with water, and tightly press the sliver onto the side of the new bar. Compress the sliver flat to the side of the new bar of soap and rub to smooth out the edges. Allow the bar to dry and the two pieces will be melded into one bar of soap. You can do this even if the new bar is a different soap than the sliver. Some of our unique "combination" soaps have become our favorites.
